Where do I return my cap and gown?

Bachelor's and master's degree candidates do not need to return their apparel. Doctoral and professional degree candidates, please ship your academic apparel to:

Important: Include a note in the box or package with your full name, phone number, the degree you received, the name of your school or college (e.g., College of Arts and Sciences, School of Dentistry), and University of Washington. Send you apparel registered mail and insure the contents for $950.00.

When will I receive my diploma?

Diplomas are usually mailed out approximately 3 - 4 months following graduation. If you have not received your diploma by mid October you may contact the Office of Graduation and Academic Records at (206) 543-2592 or ugradoff@u.washington.edu.
