Welcome graduates, families, and friends to the University of Washington Commencement homepage. Here you'll find information about the official University of Washington commencement ceremony in Husky Stadium, the many school, college, and departmental events, and how to order caps and gowns, tickets, and parking passes. Information about disability accommodations is available on the Tickets and Parking pages. You can also order announcements, flowers, and diploma frames from this website. The 135th Commencement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010. Please join us as the Class of 2010 is handed the torch that was lit nearly 150 years ago (1861), when the first University of Washington, known then as the Territorial University, opened its doors in downtown Seattle. The stadium opens at noon and the student and faculty procession begins at 1:30 p.m.
It's easy! Look over our website (particularly the information on eligibility) and then come back to this page between May 3 and May 23. You'll see a link to the Registration/Order form at the top of the third column under News and Announcements. Click on that link and you're on your way. This is how you'll register for Commencement, order your cap and gown, get tickets for your guests, and order parking passes for Commencement or for School, College and departmental ceremonies. You can pick everything up at the HUB, June 2 - 5.
